Meghan and Harry announced via their Instagram account, Sussex Royal, their decision to cast the spotlight only on Global Positive News, an Instagram account which publishes only uplifting pieces of news. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked the beginning of February writing on Instagram: “For the month of February we are pleased to follow @globalpositivenews which focuses on the acts of kindness and uplifting stories of community across the globe.”
“We hope you enjoy!”
The choice was widely appreciated by royal fans, who flocked to the Sussex Royal page within seconds from the royals publishing the post.
Within only 15 minutes, the post was liked by more than 25,000 people.
“Hope to see you this month. We love you.”
And a third, rather than focusing on the message of the Instagram post, wished the Sussexes all the best.
They said: “I hope y’all stay happy & healthy! That’s the only thing that matters.”
Another royal fan told Meghan and Harry how much she was missing them, saying: “You’re sorely missed Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan and master Archie”.
Meghan attended only one public engagement in the UK in January before flying back to Canada.
Her son Archie Harrison never returned to England after having flown across the pond in mid-November last year.
And Harry remained in his homeland until January 21, when he was spotted returning to Canada.
