Clarifications & corrections

The headline to yesterday’s article about Dominic Hamlyn, the 24-year-old graduate who died of a sudden cardiac arrest, said that he was ‘killed by his party trick’ whilst swimming. This was incorrect. In fact, the coroner found the cause to be sudden athlete death syndrome and that the event was not related to swimming. We apologise for the profound distress caused to the family by our headline.
