First Look At Elizabeth Olsen’s ‘WandaVision’ Released

The first look at Elizabeth Olsen’s upcoming WandaVision Disney Plus series just debuted during Super Bowl LIV.

This year, the MCU is about to get even bigger with two television shows for Disney Plus: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision. Unlike other Marvel shows in the past, these shows are produced by Marvel Studios and will directly effect the events in Phase 4. For example, Kevin Feige has said that WandaVision will tie into Doctor Strange into the Multiverse of Madness with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch set to appear in both.

Recently, WandaVision star Paul Bettany revealed that fans might be getting a first look at the Disney Plus series soon, even thought the series is still filming in Atlanta. However, WandaVision was also pushed up to a 2020 release date. During Super Bowl LIV, the very first look at WandaVision debuted, in which we see the return of Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision. WandaVision centers on Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch after the events of Avengers: Endgame and is believed to follow the character after she creates an idyllic world in which Paul Bettany’s Vision is still alive. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also confirmed WandaVision will lead directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will see Elizabeth Olsen reprise her role as Scarlet Witch. The first half of the series is set to take cues from multiple sitcoms over the decades, while the second half is said to be a Marvel blockbuster.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn as a nosy neighbor.

WandaVision is scheduled to premiere on Disney Plus in the Spring of 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news on Elizabeth Olsen and the upcoming Marvel Studios series.
